Inspired by ancient methodologies, Lulu Harrison found that all you need to create glass is sand, water and shells. Things you can find on the shores of the Thames. In collaboration with Thames Water, Lulu created Thames Glass based on that principle.
Inspired by its potential, Here and architects Bureau de Change have created glassware, tiles and buildings from Thames Glass to showcase how glass is as much made of place as it makes up a place.
Jesse Adler found that vivid, intense colour extracted from fungi, like mushrooms, lichen and mould, proved to be a safer and healthier alternative to synthetic colourants and more scalable and economically viable than natural dyes.
Together with Rejina Pyo, we invite you to see just what that might look like on the runway and on the rack.
Tetsuo Lin has proven that it is in fact possible to synthetically produce scent from DNA. No living plants necessary. With this science we have imagined a range of lab-grown perfumes.
In partnership with Haeckels, Here present Extinctures Re-Collection.

This Craft Week, we curated an exhibition in the heart of London to showcase our collaboration with students from the Material Futures MA at Central Saint Martins.
By rethinking materiality, these bio-pioneers are solving today’s challenges to anticipate tomorrow’s needs. Together with leading brands, we presented their discoveries as world-changing future visions.
The event has now ended, but you can still explore the content and learn about these pioneering design collaborations
At Here we believe in Beautility. The creation of beautiful things with meaningful purpose, a belief we’ve inherited from the Arts & Crafts Movement. As a branding agency, we have the opportunity to spread that message wide and positively impact the world by connecting the right people and amplifying the right conversations.
